Integration of City of Toronto horizontal and vertical control network

The purpose of this proposal is to secure funding to enable the integration of the City of Toronto's Horizontal and Vertical Control Network (HVCN) data asset with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources (OMNR) Control Survey Information Exchange (COSINE) database and internet distribution system. The integration of HVCN and COSINE will provide the geomatics community with a single portal for access in a consistent reference system to over 100,000 geodetic control stations across Ontario. This project will enhance accessibility to City of Toronto spatial data on a consistent spatial framework with provincial and national data.
