Establishment of a Road Network for Nova Scotia based on a unique geometry

The road network data constitutes one of the NSTDB information layer, as of the NTDB. Currently, both organizations are managing this information separately, which constitutes duplication of the efforts toward maintaining and updating the data used to meet the needs of their respective customers. At the end of this project, both organizations will have a complete and updated road network, in addition to having the mechanisms that ensure the capture and maintenance of a single road network for Nova Scotia which will meet the needs of provincial and national users.
