Renewed GeoConnections
The 2010 Federal Budget announced renewed funding for the GeoConnections program. The Budget provides $11 million in funding over the next two years to continue development of the Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure (CGDI) and to provide consolidated geographic-related information to Canadians via the Internet.

GeoConnections' Geomatics Skills Network Enables Students to Participate at Geomatics 2002
The Geomatics Skills Network, a GeoConnections program, would like to thank everyone who submitted an application for sponsorship to the Geomatics 2002 symposium to be held in Montreal, Quebec, October 30-31, 2002.The response was overwhelming. It was very difficult to select the finalists, as the quality of all the applications was very good. The successful candidates are:
