GeoSkills Enables Students to Participate at GeoAlberta 2003

The GeoSkills Program, part of the GeoConnections initiative, would like to thank everyone who submitted an application for sponsorship to attend the GeoAlberta Conference in Calgary, Alberta May 7-9, 2003.

The successful candidates are:

Amity Sponholz, Centre of Geographic Sciences
Stacey Lightbourne, British Columbia Institute of Technology

The GeoSkills sponsorship covers conference registration (seminars and exhibits), travel costs, accommodation and meals for students residing outside the Calgary area.
