GeoSkills Sponsorship to Attend the Annual Canadian Institute of Geomatics 96th Conference
The GeoSkills Program, part of the GeoConnections initiative, would like to thank everyone who submitted an application for sponsorship to attend the 96th annual conference of the CIG to be held October 16-18 in Calgary, Alberta.
As always, it was very difficult to select the finalists, as the quality of all the applications was very good. The successful candidates are:
Laura Neher, Ryerson University
Yvette Hurtubise, British Columbia Institute
of Technology (BCIT)
The GeoSkills sponsorship covers conference registration, travel costs, accommodation, and meals for students residing outside the Calgary area.
Contact information will be kept on file to inform all applicants of future sponsorship opportunities, which will also be posted on the GeoConnections Web site. (Select Programs and Committees, then GeoSkills, and on the right hand menu under Opportunities, select Results/Outputs.)
