Land Information Ontario communication coordination and technical website

This project will produce a technical communications website that will benefit the Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure (CGDI) by making it easier to evaluate and use Land Information Ontario (LIO) services and tools. This improvement will in turn encourage many non-traditional users to take advantage of geospatial data and tools.

To fully leverage the partnership between GeoConnections and LIO, developer-directed documentation will be gathered, organized, and published. Similar to the Application Developer pages of GeoConnections' Discovery Portal, this documentation will show three things: (1) how to use Web Mapping Service (WMS), Web Feature Service (WFS), Web Coverage Service (WCS), GeoLocator, and MapNavigator; (2) how to integrate local and LIO spatial data; and (3) how to link tabular systems and data with LIO services and data.
