CGDI standards in action-British Columbia builds metadata expertise
This project will enable users to discover and access the vast land information holdings of British Columbia's Ministry of Sustainable Resource Management (BC MSRM) via the Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure. This is a multi-phase agreement between GeoConnections and BC MSRM to build capacity and construct a viable metadata system within the Ministry. (Metadata or "data about data" describe the content, quality, condition, and other characteristics of data and therefore make finding data easier.)
