Parks Canada Internet Access to Geospatial Data

The Access to Geospatial Data initiative of Parks Canada aims to make geospatial data discoverable and accessible to the public through the CGDI data portal. The principal objective of the project is to collect metadata of Parks Canada's geospatial data inventory. The project will be completed on a phase by phase basis. Phase one will provide the infrastructure and metadata standards allowing geospatial metadata to be made discoverable through the GeoConnections Discovery Portal. Future phases will provide mechanisms for clients to access the data once discovered.
