Feasibility Study For The Development Of A Seamless Coastline Framework

The objective of this proposal is to evaluate the technical and financial feasibility of a more comprehensive project to develop a new layer of CGDI data adapted to the coastal zone issue. While the feasibility study is underway, a testbed for integrating, exchanging, and harmonizing data to develop a coastline framework will be initiated between CTIS, CHS, and FHMD. The creation of a seamless coastline framework complies with the basic principles of the Framework Data Committee in terms of partnerships between different government agencies (federal and provincial) and will constitute the foundation for national coverage.
